North Cornwall's Davidstow Creamery is to invest Pounds 3.2 million in two biomass boilers which will result in annual cost savings of up to Pounds 800,000 a year. The Dairy Crest-owned creamery, based near Camelford, received a Pounds 1 million grant from the South West Regional Development Agency through the South West Bioheat Programme to allow the scheme, which costs Pounds 4.2 million, to go ahead.
