Small ornaments and nick-nacks are what makes a good antiques and collectors' fair, and tomorrow's event at St Mellion near Saltash has plenty. From fine English furniture to good Exeter silver, jewellery to glass, there is an abundance of glittering possessions available, some of which are quite reasonably priced.
Certainly the ormolu study of a seated whippet is within reach of most collectors' pockets at Pounds 75 on SE Antiques' stand, stylishly seated in an alert pose.
