Summary
TWO professors from the University of Exeter have been elected fellows of the British Academy, the national academy for the humanities and social sciences. Historian Professor Alexandra Walsham and geographer Professor Paul Cloke will be welcomed as fellows at a ceremony in London next month.
Alexandra Walsham is professor of Reformation history and head of the department of history in the University of Exeter's School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her research focuses on the religious and cultural history of early modern Britain, and she has published widely in this field. Educated at the University of Melbourne in Australia and Trinity College, Cambridge, she joined the University of Exeter in 1996.See the full content of this document
