Farmers should all become ambassadors in the cause of a cull of infected badgers to prevent the spread of bovine TB, farming leader Peter Kendall told Westcountry audiences.

On a whistlestop tour of the Westcountry yesterday, the president of the National Farmers' Union told audiences in Truro, Newton Abbot and Bridgwater that each farmer was responsible for spreading the message that unless there was a cull of sick badgers, cattle herds would continue to be decimated.
