Anfield Legends in Newquay for Charity Match

Summary


A HOST of star names from Liverpool's illustrious past are heading to Cornwall to take part in a charity event at Newquay Football Club on Sunday, August 9. The likes of Bob Bolder, Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, John Wark, Mike Marsh, Howard Gayle, Paul Walsh, Mark Walters, Jimmy Case, John Durnin and Jan Molby will take on an Arsenal Soccer Schools XI led by former Exeter City winger John Hodge, who now runs the Arsenal Soccer School in Cornwall. The Legends will then stay on for an evening dinner at Hotel Victoria in Newquay.

"It is a fantastic opportunity for Liverpool fans - and football fans in general - from the Westcountry to see their heroes on their own doorstep," event organiser Hodge said. "It will be a fantastic occasion and something that any Liverpool FC supporter will not want to miss."
