COASTGUARDS have expressed their "displeasure" at having to rescue a cargo ship that ran out of fuel off the Westcountry coast.

The 11-strong crew of the Taigeta, an 82-metre general cargo ship from the Dominican Republic, had been stranded south of Plymouth - in the dark and existing on cold food - after running adrift on Tuesday night.
