Fter all that talk of not getting in the car again, we have just been on holiday - to the Lake District. Really we should be going on holiday to Birmingham or Leeds or some other sprawling metropolis, as we live in the middle of nowhere already, but the Lakes it was.

Anyway, the night before we were due to depart, I noticed a mark on the bridge of the first daughter's nose. It looked as though she'd bashed into something. I didn't remember her falling over - but it's not an unusual occurrence, so I cleaned it and put her to bed.
