Application for 2,000 Homes Wins Backing From Council

Summary


COUNCILLORS have given planning permission for a development in Bridgwater. Sedgemoor District Council's development committee approved a mixture of outline and full planning permission for the site, known as North East Bridgwater.

The application from developers Hallam Land, based in Leeds, includes about 2,000 dwellings, 20 per cent of which are affordable homes. A commercial services centre is also included comprising up to 1,200 sq m of retail floorspace.
