AS WE are such an advanced maritime nation, but small in area in comparison to our neighbours, fewer and fewer people rely on the sea for a living. Water craft to most of us are for holiday use and maintained to scrupulously high standards during the winter when they are drawn into dry dock, cleaned and spruced up for the following season.
