Summary
There are many responses one might reasonably expect from your waitress when told: "Er, excuse me, this table is really wobbly." But a big grin and, "Yeah, the floor's uneven," was, although slightly unexpected, fairly forgivable. The Basement in Padstow is a very laid-back eaterie indeed.
