FATE is a fickle mistress. Yeovil, veterans of so many Cup giant- killings in recently history, were themselves slaughtered in the Home Counties on Saturday.
Put simply, Yeovil failed to show up in Oxford, allowing the home side to run out 1-0 winners. Whether it was nerves among the players, conscious that theirs was a scalp worth having, or just lackadaisicalness, who knows.
