BUCKLAND in the Moor is as pretty a hamlet as you you'll find anywhere in the country - and this walk is a classic circular stroll up out of its sylvan valley sides on to the bare hilltops of southern Dartmoor.

Basically the walk takes you upwards and northwards to eventually reach Top Tor and then south past Foale's Arrishes and over Buckland Common until you reach the Beacon and its famous Ten Commandment Rocks.
