AN EMERGENCY appeal has been launched to recruit a new generation of blood donors to help stockpile supplies because of fears of a winter drop off caused by swine flu.
NHS Blood and Transplant is concerned because people are unable to give blood if they have the illness, which is expected to sweep through the country this winter, and they want to ensure supplies are high enough to cope.See the full content of this document
