T he birth of St Ives as an art colony is celebrated in style at Tate, St Ives. How well the management stages its shows. This is an exhibition reeking of history, curated by David Tovey, the St Ives historian. Virginia Woolf would have enjoyed it. She had a spell in the town, inspired by Godrevy Light.
