Summary
Dressage trainer and rider Chris Dannen returned home victorious from Burrows Court Farm, Gloucestershire, on Saturday having won the Grand Prix Special pick-a-test class. With Leopardo, the pair picked the hardest test (Grand Prix Special) to finish on 64 per cent. "I was so pleased with him as you need huge collection," said Chris who trains the Eggesford Pony Club dressage team. "It was our first time and we won." Chris also rode Louise French's palomino Casual Blonde to success in the Open medium section on his fifth outing qualifying for the summer regionals. Sports injury and McTimoney animal therapist Sarah Hedderly, who is trained by Chris, also had success with a win in the medium restricted on Donner Starg who she has had on loan since last autumn.
