Summary
With several collaborators, I am writing a book which features three local historical figures: Bertram Fletcher Robinson (journalist), Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch (author) and Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett (explorer).
All three were pupils at Newton Preparatory College, Wolborough, near Newton Abbot. Newton College closed in 1939 and became a Home Office Approved School (1940-1973), a council care facility (1973- 1988) and recently a housing estate.See the full content of this document
