More than 1,600 students had an unexpected day off yesterday after a car crash cut power to their school.
Tavistock College was blacked out late on Sunday, after a car collided with a high-voltage power line pylon in a nearby road. Spokeswoman Bridget Passmore said the school's electrical systems needed to be restored after the mains power came back. No-one was hurt in the crash.See the full content of this document
