Debbie Urquhart was bowled over by the light in St Ives when she came to the town to paint. She was struck by the contrast with the London streets that, until then, she had used as backdrops for her still lifes.
"Suddenly there was an explosion of light and colour all around me," says the artist. "It is amazing, like taking my sunglasses off compared to the London light."See the full content of this document
