One man died and two more are feared dead after a trawler sank on Wednesday night 170 miles off the Isles of Scilly.

A rescue was attempted around 9.30pm after the French-registered Dinish, which had a largely-Spanish crew, made a mayday call when she got into severe difficulties and began taking on water.
