Friends, families and supporters of the armed forces lined the streets to welcome home soldiers from Afghanistan.

A parade of 230 troops marched through Braunton in North Devon yesterday when 24 Commando Engineer Regiment returned home to a welcome from villagers and businesses. Each of the three primary schools turned out in force with several children having parents in the forces.
