Dairy Crest to Sell Stake in Creamery

Summary


DAIRY Crest is in "advanced negotiations" to offload 50 per cent of its shares in Wexford Creamery to Wexford Milk Producers and repay Pounds 9 million in bank debt.

It said the move - which will see the RoI milk producer become a majority shareholder in the creamery - will also enable it to focus more on key brands, including Cornish-made Davidstow and Cathedral City cheddars.
