A long-running dispute over an unauthorised golf course in Dartmoor National Park has ended in the High Court with an injunction effectively forcing the closure of the site.
Dartmoor National Park Authority said the moorland course at Reddacleave Brake, Dean Prior, near Buckfastleigh, had an "alien and manicured appearance" which did not fit in to the protected landscape. Back in August the authority moved diggers onto the site to bulldoze raised greens and tees and restore the natural contours of the land.See the full content of this document
