A SOLICITOR has defended his champion title in a mince pie- eating competition after scoffing 33 of them.
Denzil Gunner wolfed down the pile of pies in just 10 minutes to win the contest at Wookey Hole, Somerset, for the second year running. Last year Mr Gunner, a solicitor from Notting Hill, London, entered the annual Big Eat event as part of a year-long mission to take on strange challenges and ended up scooping the Pounds 1,000 prize.See the full content of this document
