St Austell Brewery recently invited a select group of people to a blind tasting, the first time they had done so, in order to help it choose a new ale for 2011. One blustery autumn evening I found myself in the visitor centre at the St Austell Brewery, being invited to drink not one but seven different beers, entirely for free.
