COASTGUARDS have expressed their "disgust" at a hoaxer who caused a large-scale search operation by sea and air, after dialling 999 to report two swimmers in difficulty.
The man, who called himself Simon James, said he had been fishing on Saturday morning when he saw two men go swimming from a beach at Starcross, near Exeter.See the full content of this document
