A westcountry doctor is at the forefront of a campaign by senior physicians for independent scrutiny of the treatment of detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
Dr David Halpin, of Haytor, Dartmoor, has thrown his weight behind a call by 130 doctors for the examination of the medical and psychological treatment of the prisoners, who were rounded up by the US military during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.See the full content of this document
