Summary
An exciting exhibition entitled Dartmoor Past, Dartmoor Present, in association with the Dartmoor Trust, is on at Delamore Gallery and Sculpture Garden on the southern slopes of Dartmoor in Cornwood. Visitors hoping to visit tomorrow, however, will be disappointed as the exhibition is closed on Sundays - but it will be open on Easter Monday to show stunning works of art like Pauline Lee's.
Her work has become more sculptural than earlier, reflecting many aspects of the natural world in an imaginative way that captures atmosphere. This is particularly effective in her ceramics which use heavily grogged sculpture clay, paperclay and porcelain, often imprinted with texture and marks from bark, leaves, twigs etc. to create a landscape in clay.See the full content of this document
