PLANS to create a 24-hour alcohol delivery service in a Cornish resort have been withdrawn.
A licensing application on behalf of Dial-a-Drink was lodged with Cornwall Council in August to allow people in Newquay to buy alcohol at any time of day or night but a council spokesman last night confirmed the applicants had withdrawn their bid. The announcement has received universal backing from the town's residents.See the full content of this document
