Summary
A man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving was in collision with a lorry on the M5 near the Devon and Somerset border. The crash happened on the northbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 26 and 27 at 2.40pm yesterday. A Peugeot 406 and a lorry collided before the car ended up hitting the central reservation. The driver of the Peugeot was taken to Musgrove Hospital in Taunton with back and neck injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.
