Foot Anstey worked with the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education to set up a new social enterprise, Chime, to take on the Pounds 10.5 million operation of NHS audiology services for Exeter and Mid and East Devon.

Hearing aids and other audiology services will continue to be provided free at the point of delivery to NHS patients in these areas.
