THE reappearance of George Bednar's superb volume, Every Corner Was A Picture, could not be more timely because it coincides with the Brotherhood Of The Palette exhibition at Penlee House Gallery in Penzance.

A checklist of the names and dates of artists associated with Newlyn and its art colony from 1880 to 1900, Every Corner Was A Picture was first published in 1999 and featured some 50 painters.
