Summary
Fifty childcare providers from across Devon are to be rewarded for their work. The nurseries, childminders, pre-school and out-of- school settings have all received a Quality Assurance accreditation showing they meet the required standards in areas such as management, policy, record keeping, parent relationships, nutrition and health and safety. The awards will be presented to them at a ceremony at Sandy Park Conference Centre, Exeter, on Tuesday March 6.
VOTERS in East Devon are being encouraged to stand in May's local elections. EDDC's Local Returning Officer Mark Williams is holding a series of roadshows around the district encouraging residents to have a say in how their parish, town or district is run by standing as prospective councillors at elections being held on May 3.
