Summary
Having read reams over the past months about the pros and cons of the Kingskerswell bypass project, I had the opportunity to test things out for a fortnight, travelling daily (sometimes twice) from Sherwell Valley Primary School, Shiphay, to the outpatients' car park at Newton Abbot Hospital.
Each trip was timed to within 15 seconds; the shortest time was 12.5 minutes and the longest exactly 25 minutes. Speed limits were strictly observed and the division between rush hour and non-rush hour journeys was about equal.See the full content of this document
