Summary
I question one sentence in Anthony Gibson's update on bovine TB, that being a quote which begins: "The Government has bowed to the badger lobby".
A petition signed by 1.7 million objectors to a proposed road pricing scheme was handed in at No 10 and within hours Tony Blair's office issued a statement saying it would make no difference to the proposals, so I can't imagine the Government taking the slightest notice of a few crackpot animal rights fanatics. It is more than likely that it using the rapidly expanding diseased badger population to hasten the decimation of the national herd to comply with the EU objective of an England devoid of farm livestock.See the full content of this document
