THE NHS in Cornwall has amended its working practices after it was revealed it had a doctor on its books who later killed a patient through tiredness - despite him never working in the county.

Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly PCT had Dr Daniel Ubani on its "performer list", which allowed the German medic to get a job at private GP firm Take Care Now.
