Plans which would see workers who claim they have been unfairly dismissed or discriminated against being forced to pay up to Pounds 2,000 before going to an employment tribunal have been condemned by unions.

The Government announced it is consulting on making sweeping changes to the current system, which it says costs taxpayers millions of pounds.
