A man caught trying to catch fish on the River Exe with a fishing gaff has been ordered to pay Pounds 400 in fines and costs.
Self-employed builder Toby Neilson, from Minehead in Somerset, was seen wielding the gaff - a pole with a large metal hook - at Bridgetown weir near Dulverton, on November 6 last year.See the full content of this document
