Thank you for publishing my letter "Assembly Lines" (August 1), which unfortunately suffered from your editing.
Perhaps you would consider clarifying the facts in my published response to Luke Thorne, letters July 5? It was his "utter balderdash" assertion that regional assemblies had nothing to do with the 1992 Maastricht Treaty.
