Summary
Every festival has its own flavour, and with Camborne's Trevithick Day that's literally true. For once the air isn't full of the smell of burgers and chips. Instead it is filled with what the Cornish call a "smeech" - the sight and smell of smoke from working engines, the hot smell of steam, the undertone of warm oil.
