Truro City chairman Kevin Heaney believes the football club and Cornish Pirates rugby club could face "Armageddon" if the proposed Stadium for Cornwall does not become a reality within a couple of years.

Heaney has guided City to a record five promotions in six seasons, and they will be playing in Blue Square Bet South next season for the first time. But without the proposed stadium, which is earmarked for a site at Langarth Farm, near Threemilestone, he thinks that their remarkable rise up football's League pyramid system could stall.
