Summary
I would like to talk about a group of people who live quite differently than most and very differently from me. I am talking about family carers who often spend 24 hours a day, 365 days a year looking after someone else who cannot cope alone because of illness, frailty, disability or addiction.
For someone like me who is out training all week it is hard to imagine what it is like hardly ever being able to leave the home or do what they want to do. Many suffer ill-health, and their own well- being or a break is the last thing on their mind.See the full content of this document
