COLIN Lee was my guest at a Plymouth Argyle dinner last month, a dinner held for Tottenham fans with three very special guests. The speakers were Ossie Ardiles, Ricky Villa and Steve Perryman but as Colin joined the top table it soon became apparent that four speakers would be taking questions from the floor that night.

Colin, now chief executive at Torquay United, had a remarkable career at Tottenham, which started just before the Argentine pair came to the club, and his debut for Spurs was a truly unforgettable fixture in the club's history. My guest was about to be reunited with teammates from more than 30 years ago and in truth, that was the main reason why I invited him.
