Summary
The design quality of more than 90 per cent of housing built in the South West in the last three years is not up to standard, a leading organisation has claimed.
The allegation was made by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) yesterday. It assessed the design quality of just six per cent of new housing in the South West as good or very good. It said the rest were "failing to measure up" with 47 per cent being so poor they "should not have got planning permission in their current form".See the full content of this document
