An evening of festive song is to be staged at Bicclescombe Park, Ilfracombe, on Thursday. North Devon District Council's Parks team has teamed up with the Tea Rooms at the park to host the carol singing event which will feature music from local band Blazing Sounds from 6.30pm to 8pm. Organisers said if the weather is unsuitable, the event would be brought indoors to the Tea Rooms.
CRAFT Fusion, makers of contemporary handmade art glass has been awarded membership of the Guild of Master Craftsmen. Craft Fusion's owner Gregg Anston-Race uses the ancient technique of glass fusion, which dates back more than 4,000 years, to create contemporary pieces of glass art at his studio in Holsworthy.
