Summary
A date has been set for the inquest into the death of former Electric Light Orchestra musician Mike Edwards who died when the van he was driving was hit by a huge bale of hay last September.
The hearing, which is expected to last a day, is set to go ahead before a jury in Plymouth on Tuesday, March 15. Mr Edwards, a former member of the ELO chart toppers back in the 70s, died at the wheel of his bottled water delivery van on the A385 road near Halwell after a six hundredweight round bale of hay rolled down a steeply sloping field, over a hedge and dropped 12ft on to the cab of his van.See the full content of this document
