Summary
TAIKO drumming group Kodo from Japan are bringing their One Earth tour to the Hall for Cornwall, Truro, and we have two pairs of tickets to give away. Kodo burst on to the world stage at the Berlin Festival in 1981 and have since delivered over 3,200 performances.
The group were set up 38 years ago by young people in Japan who were disappointed with modern life and wanted to rediscover traditional roots and values. They moved to remote Sado Island to establish a school to teach traditional Japanese culture, calling themselves Kodo, which means "heartbeat" and "children of the drum".See the full content of this document
