Ian Holloway has admitted that Plymouth Argyle have had a bid for Gillingham midfielder Matthew Jarvis rejected by the Kent club.
The Pilgrims' manager is keen to strengthen his squad when the transfer market reopens for business in January, providing he can find suitable purchases within his price range.
