Exeter gymnast Steven Jehu has dismissed any concerns over the upcoming Commonwealth Games in India and insisted he will be competing. The 23-year-old, who is currently training with the England Gymnastics squad in Lilleshall, is due to fly to Delhi next Monday ahead of the Games, which are scheduled to start on October 3. The host city's preparations have suffered a wide range of setbacks this week, with many athletes and countries threatening to pull out.
Organisers have struggled with an outbreak of dengue fever, the collapse of a footbridge leading to the main stadium and security fears after the shooting on Sunday of two tourists outside one of the city's top attractions.See the full content of this document
