HERE we go again. So Brown is to have the new body "vetted by political establishment figures" is he? Yet again we have a U-turn by this bungling and bumbling, unelected head of government.
The whole object of selecting the governing body to control/ oversee MPs' expenses was to prevent interference by politicians, of all persuasions, while making the list of claimable items more acceptable to the general public. If Gordon Brown's interference is allowed to happen, we may just as well ask the MPs to exercise their own control as before, and we all know where that led: a pay rise through the back door.See the full content of this document
