Summary
Graeme Demianyk's interesting appraisal (January 29) of the relative merits of some recent high-profile works of architecture inevitably added to the ongoing debate about the controversial exterior faades of the Drake Circus shopping mall development in Plymouth.
However, I would suggest that by far the worst example of city centre architecture in the United Kingdom - infinitely more monstrous than Drake Circus - has to be the Royal and Sun Alliance's building towering over the City of Liverpool's historic Mersey waterfront.See the full content of this document
